Stand for Spinal – Second Annual Fundraiser
📅 Saturday 5th July | 🕐 1:00PM kick-off | 📍 Kurri Kurri Sports Ground
We’re back for round two—and it’s going to be even bigger and better!
Join us for an unforgettable afternoon of community spirit, footy, live music, and good vibes as we come together once again to support Jay Stevens and the incredible mission behind Stand for Spinal.
Jay—former miner, footy legend, and intrepid adventurer—has transformed the adversity of a life-changing spinal injury into something truly powerful: a movement to raise awareness, fund life-changing research, and provide real-world support for Australians living with spinal cord injuries.
What’s Happening on the Day?
This year, we’re turning up the energy as the Kurri Kurri Bulldogs go head-to-head with the South Newcastle Lions in a game that promises intensity, passion, and a whole lot of heart.
With your $80 ticket, you’ll enjoy:
🏉 Entry to the game
🍻 Ice-cold beers
🌭 A mouthwatering BBQ feed
🎸 A live band bringing the tunes and good vibes
🎟️ A massive raffle with incredible prizes up for grabs

It’s more than a game—it’s a community gathering with purpose. Whether you’re there for the footy, the feed, or the feel-good factor, every cheer, every raffle ticket, and every bite helps us take another step toward creating freedom and opportunity for people living with spinal injuries.
